RTI Micro Edition provides a scalable product line for resource-constrained environments with stringent requirements on Size, Weight and Power (SWaP). Think of limited main memory (e.g 8MB), limited secondary storage (e.g. 32MB flash drive), embedded low-power CPUs, or no operating system.
Safety-critical systems, including avionics systems and medical devices, require certification in conformance to standards, such as DO-178 and IEC 61508. With a targeted ELOC (Executable Lines Of Code) count of 15,000, RTI Micro Edition provides the code base for a certifiable middleware implementation.
